文化のみち二葉館（名古屋市旧川上貞奴邸）

　この建物は、「文化のみち」の拠点施設として、2005年に東二葉町(名古屋市東区)にあった建物を移築復元し「文化のみち二葉館」と命名されました。

　大正時代に「電力王」と呼ばれた実業家福澤桃介(1868-1938)と、日本の近代女優第1号である川上貞奴(かわかみ さだやっこ、1871-1946)が暮らしていたことから、オール電化モデル住宅という面と貞奴のセンスがミックスした特徴のある建物となっています。

　木造一部鉄筋コンクリート造二階建て和洋折衷の建物で、川上貞奴に関する資料や、坪内逍遥など郷土ゆかりの文学資料を展示しています。

　This building is the base facility of “Cultural Path”.Moved from Higashi-Ftaba-cho to current location in 2005.

　Fukuzawa Momosuke, who was called the “Power King” in the Taisho era, and Kawakami Sadayakko, the first Japanese actress, lived there.It is a characteristic building that mixes the aspect of an all-electric model house with a sense of Sadayakko.

　Two-story Japanese-Western eclectic building with partially wooden reinforced concrete construction.We are displaying materials related to Sadayakko and literary materials related to the local area such as Tsubouchi Shouyou.
